Re: 2017 Macan Turbo For Sale - very high spec

They have a generally good rep yes, would definitely try them direct but the carwow process forces a bidding war and the way I did it I was not committed to sell at the highest bid value. Think dealer pays carwow £4-500

Re: Does buying a new Macan make sense now?

Thanks for all the opinions. It seems some do relate with my thoughts. By tech, I mean things like: - the ability for the car to steer itself in a lane on the motorway while under cruise control (within reason whilst holding the wheel) Mine had that, “lane assist” Rarely used it as you had to keep ...

Now sold to Cridfords via carwow.

Shame as a private buyer would have got a bargain.

Haven’t sold a car privately for 10+ years and it was an interesting experience dealing with the scammers!

MikeM wrote: Fri Mar 15, 2024 12:33 am Looks like a big spec, can see a sport design package, 21” turbo wheels, think it’s Agate with a pebble interior, 18 way and BOSE, all good. Old school CD still useful and a walnut trim 🤔 but no pan roof…Some would say that’s also a benefit. Enjoy 👍
Wouldn’t SD pack have SD mirrors?

Re: Long time admirer, first time owner

Gen 2 main changes were bigger wider Satnav screen which necessitated redesigned dash vents, and the light bar on the rear.

Lots of small changes under the skin, I believed they gave the park sensors a Valium too

Re: PCCB lifespan and replacement costs

Very rare option on a Macan!

Possibly a plus if you get them inspected and they are say <25% worn but I would worry about eye watering replacement cost if they are 50% or more worn

Re: What a tool.............. (new vehicle, as requested)

Lovely car, though that interior would worry me with dark jeans I tend to wear The turismo is a much nicer looking car than the saloon IMO. Why did you buy a CT over an ST? Personally not a fan of the CT plastic add ons. Given the depreciation on Taycans (sometimes exaggerated) did you buy on PCP/le...
