Re: Would you risk buying click and collect.

My understanding is that if you have it delivered then DSR kicks in, but if you collect then it doesn't? https://www.themotorombudsman.org/distance-sales-faqs?fbclid=IwAR0sQJlFiwcfUwoS_FEFprdgv29pcPZDzapWszPUD2nOr6og1jdkdrSEKdc Thanks. Yeah, that’s what I read that states that click and collect is ...

Re: Would you risk buying click and collect.

Agree a smallish deposit on a credit card with the OPC. That'll get rid of the sales pressure "we've another buyer interested" etc Makes the arrangements and go and collect it. If anything's not right when you arrive, then you can argue with the OPC and walk away (with your deposit back) ...

Turbo PP 2017 41,000 miles for Sale

Can't believe i'm doing this after it taking so long to find the right one but due to moving to a WFH situation due to CV19 and the car getting used 3 times a week to go to the gym and a Sunday to go shooting plus the wife being too scared to drive it as it's my baby it has to go. 2017 Turbo PP in V...

Re: Costco - credit where it's due

Certainly different to mine. At cruise on the motorway I’d have only 1 or 2 front lines showing. It increases if you accelerate but its never 50/50 unless its in off road mode. Yes. It's a known characteristic on the PP that it's permanent AWD, just too much torque for a single axle. Mine is a PP. ...

Re: Costco - credit where it's due

If you select the 4WD display on the MFD you'll see that most of the drive goes to the rear. Apart from that, wider rear tyres are a fixture on all Porsches. If you spend a lot of time going around roundabouts quickly the left front will get more of its fair share of load. Otherwise, it might be wo...

Re: Is this the transfer box issue?

Mine does the same. Off a gravel drive uphill the inside rear wheel skips.

On holiday last week going up a 1 in 3 hairpin it was proper skipping.

I believe it’s Ackerman as OPC have had it in before and not found any issues

Re: Wanted: All-weather floor mats

I bought a 2nd set of normal mats off eBay. Much cheaper 2nd hand than the rubber ones. Just keeping the original ones in the garage so they stay nice

Re: Transfer Box

Timing cover oil leaks. Apart from that, fairly solid car Why are you not servicing it at an OPC? If it has full OPC history thus far for the sake of £600/£1200 for 20 and 40k services which you may get around half price for Indy service it pales into insignificance against the petrol cost. If it’s ...
