Re: oil change due at 5000 mls on 9 month old car!

There you go, not far short of 20000 mls to first oil change, I think 5000 mls for an oil change in a Ferrari would be acceptable but not in a Porsche Macan with an Audi V6 engine.

Re: oil change due at 5000 mls on 9 month old car!

Its definitely a 3.0 litre V6 petrol, not normally short runs, 30 miles per day on dual carriageway around 75 MPH, less than half mile from dual carriageway to home. car has been sitting on my driveway for most of the last 4-5 weeks, engine not running until I had to go shopping the other day, there...

oil change due at 5000 mls on 9 month old car!

My July 2019 Macan with just 5000 miles recorded has just announced that I need to change the oil in approx 60 days, I was under the impression that that these engines would run for 2 years or 20000 miles before an oil change was required.

Re: 2019 Macan S puddle lights

the "puddle lights" have a dual function, when either of the doors are open at night, the bottom half of the light emits a white light to the road, the remainder of the lens is red which emits a red light to warn passing motorists that your door is open, I see that as a safety feature worth having!...

Re: 2019 Macan S puddle lights

My macan was a Porsche factory specification vehicle, afraid I had no choice to add more extras such as the extended lighting package, which I would have if I had factory/dealer specified my car. I would like to have these additional lights operating, the light fittings themselves can be purchased f...

Re: 2019 Macan S puddle lights

why are these are crucial "safety item"? its not brakes or ABS, might stop you stepping in a deep puddle I guess :) with Porsche you do need to interrogate the options list and what it does/doesn't include but Audi option prices are just as silly (ex RS4 owner) the "puddle lights" have a dual funct...

Re: 2019 Macan S puddle lights

Confirmed, no lights installed under the clear/red lenses upon all four doors, cannot believe Porsche would omit these safety items to save a bit of money, they really have opened my eyes when it comes to vehicle specifications, these should be standard fitted items across their range. I own two Por...

Re: 2019 Macan S puddle lights

I don't have the comfort light package which appears to include the door lights, but have the memory package, Porsche have some very strange ideas when it comes to specifications. these under door lights are standard on most family cars, Porsche want you to pay extra for them, these items are surely...

2019 Macan S puddle lights

my macan S appears to have puddle lights installed but they do not switch on/off when the doors are opened closed, they either have no lights/bulbs installed or do they need a software update to operate?

is that the real colour?
My guess is it’s crayon & the indoor lights & camera have tinted it.
Too old to be original factory crayon, this is a pre-718 model.
