Re: Specification mistakes
Years ago on here, there was a person whose Macan was delivered in the wrong colour, but mistakes of any kind are fortunately rarely experienced. :) Thanks for remembering :-) Incorrect colour (Night Blue instead of Volcano Grey) and interior light pack both missed off my car. I still love it though.

Re: Macan - Suitable work horse/family SUV?
Mine gets used on camp sites, up dirt tracks (very light off roading). Kids in back, roof box on top. To and from the garden centre as well as tip runs and it is fine. Depends how big your children are / how tall you are as rear leg room can be limited if you are tall. As ever YMMV :-) I have a 2019...

Heated Windscreen
OK, so after opting for the heated windscreen on my 2019 S and wondering if I had been sold a dud (it was not cold enough to need it last year), I have had the chance to play a bit over the winter. My thoughts. 1 - You press the heated "rear screen" button to activate, not the demist the f...

Re: Green Mold on window seals
I have used Bilt Hamber Surfex HD diluted (a lot) and with a small soft brush to remove similar on my previous (4 series) car.
That stuff tends to work on most stubborn cleaning problems, its pretty handy to have in my garage.

Re: Best Polish For Metallic Black Paint
I have recently discovered Bilt Hamber Cleanser Polish that seems to do a great job on my Night Blue. Looks great once you put a layer of wax over it, does not seem to have too high a cutting factor. I must admit I am turning into a bit of a Bilt Hamber fan, based on recommendations from my detailer.

Re: Wireless Phone Charging
Ah, I thought that it might just be me, I have put the phone in the holder and also noticed no improvement in signal. Would make sense if its disabled, no idea why that would be though as other cars, such as BMW, have it enabled.

It will be shown in the right hand side display, you can scroll with the right hand scroll "wheel" on the steering wheel.
You can see it here.

Re: New to the forum
Thanks, funnily it was quite close between Volcano and Night blue, I changed my order between the 2 last minute. Having seen them side by side I still like both but in very strong sunlight the multicoloured metal flakes in the blue JUST edge it IMHO. Whatever colour, I love the car, its a great comb...
