Re: Scratches on windscreen

Glass can be polished. I tried it out on a banger and it worked well. Not suggesting you do it but can be fixed.

Or a new windscreen on insurance? £75 vs £1000 with the dealer. Maybe surprisingly Autoglass did a good job (mine had cracked)

Re: Iron specs

Tricky. Original Wonder Wheels though quite caustic would shift most especially if left to soak for a few minutes only. Sometimes tar spot remover works

Re: Insurance

Aviva also underwrite Lockton Insurance through the owners club and I am told they are excellent during the claims process. Hoping that I wont need to validate that opinion for myself ;) Paul Just gone this route for the Boxster; anybody over 35 can drive it and self + wife can drive ANY car not ow...

Re: Insurance

Just renewed this minute with DirectLine, sub £400 with Cobb Accessport mod. LV were competitive too. Admiral wanted £1000 Used Admiral in the past, no claims, but every change incurred an admin fee and once when I enquired about potential cost of a performance mod they took the money without asking...

Re: Picked up a screw

Ideally replace them in pairs but in your circumstances probably not needed. Do buy N rated tyres, don’t buy them from Porsche as they’ll be roughly twice the price. Camskill often keenest prices; some good deals at Costco currently
