Re: 2 year service &advisories
Just had latest quote for a stand alone oil service. £528. Last one was £350. Anyone similar quotes. I'm booked in for one in May at Stockport OPC at a promised £335.05 and I'll be whipping out the PCGB membership card when I come to pay! Sheffield charged me £413 in Feb '21 and £376 in June '22, d...

Re: FCA suspends GAP ins sales
Porsche pcp is something like 11%, Audi is typically 8%ish and VW less...all different but all with VW finance. How does that work? It's called capitalism, charging what the market will bear! Yeah I get that...my comment was a bit flippant. Porsche rates have always been higher. Previously only by ...

Re: Power steering plus
Standard steering isn't heavy at all in my opinion. Wouldn't bother with PSS.
Some people think it's worth having though.
You need to test one with and one without so you can make the decision

Re: Tyre choice
Got Goodyear f1 Asymmetric 3 on my current GTS. Had Michelin Lats on my old Macan. Seem to perform equally. Michelin a couple of hundred pounds more expensive for a set of 4. I think the Michelin is an older tyre, older technology

Re: Lack of Colours
When a Generation is in its last months of production, the options of colours avialable for the last of the previous production reduce. the 911 is about to have the announcement of the 992.2 I was thinking that. Shame but I just hope there are some nice brightly coloured used ones available when I'...

Re: Sainsburys 97 octane super unleaded
Interesting article in Evo re pump fuel and Coryton sustain fuel. They test three cars, one being a 992 GTS which is Evos long termer. I would have thought they'd run it on 97 at least, but no, they have it running on BP 95. Manufacturer claim: 473bhp, 420lb ft BP 95: 471.9bhp, 406.8lb ft Nothing i...
