Re: Transfer Box Warranty

That's the Macan back home with a new Transfer Box replaced. The car is much smoother when pulling away and there is no more juddering on smooth tarmac. A big plus for us is when reversing as we always reverse park at home and in the public car parks.

Transfer Box Warranty

Just got a call from OPC and confirms that my wife's Macan (2017) transfer box is faulty and will be replaced under the 7 years warranty. I noticed the 'classic' symptoms when pulling away and in tight turns over the last couple of months.

At long last, Mrs 238 Macan finally got her fuel pump filter cap recall work done yesterday and got this as a loan car for a day.

Re: Tewkesbury OPC closing due to the Coronavirus

I just put my 981S in to my local OPC for service & MOT tomorrow. I yet to get a text or call from them about closing. Maybe I'm in Scotland.

Re: 2015-2018 Macan Recall #ALA2

I am down at Porsche Exeter today getting the wife’s gts it’s first MOT and they flagged this as needing doing. It’s a 0.64 hour job apparently and they are doing it today. How could that be? I received the recall letter from Porsche HQ in Reading and just came off the phone to my local OPC to book...

Re: Ordered 2.0 Base Macan

Good choice and a nice spec. Nothing wrong with a 2.0L Base Macan. My wife loves hers and I enjoy driving it.

It's a 981, similar to mine.

Re: Service intervals - impact of low mileage

My wife's Macan bought second-hand in Sept 2019, will be 3 years old in March 2020 and I'm intending to have its oil changed along with MOT. My current 981S always has the oil changed alternating with service intervals. Also, I supply my own oil too.
