Re: CarPlay confusion.

I have just bought a 2017 Macan SD from an OPC. It didn’t have Nav, Voice or CarPlay. As part of the deal the dealer is installing Car Play for me. The cost (to them) is £420 for parts, and then their labour. As part of this, the left stalk will be changed to allow the Siri voice button to be added...

Re: Rattle accelerating

Then they referred it to Porsche who claimed it was a "characteristic of the car", so nothing could be done about it. Interesting take on it… surely for that to be the case it must be present on all cars the same and be demonstrably so. Sounds like an upmarket take on the old ‘it’s a feat...

Re: Rattle accelerating

Yes I have the same issue.

Same MY 2017 SD, same rattle at the same rpm. The OPC also said the same re warranty but annoyingly it went away when they had it in to investigate.

It’s a little intermittent but is there most of the time.. will be following this post closely!

Cordless polisher / buffer

Does anyone use one and have any thoughts on how good they are or recommendations?

I’ve been thinking of getting one, mostly to buff after waxing tbh, but it’s been surprisingly difficult to find any reviews.

Many thanks

Re: Porsche Digital Twin

Lots of cars already use this type of IoT and similar, it’s quite mature technology really. Porsche produce sublime cars and engineering (GT3 engine spoofing a turbo effect is amazing to name one) but it does feel like they aren’t always the best with UX and infotainment type things. The connected c...

Re: Long Life Condition Report

Strange one. If you bought your car from an OPC and have followed all Porsche service requirements via an OPC then I’d struggle to see how they have any case. The report is their own internal process and responsibility, it’s not your obligation or any contractual or compliance requirement on you. Th...

Re: New member saying Hi and help!!!

The servicing on a macan is, i believe, every 2 years or 20,000 miles. I don’t believe its based on your driving style as it is with something like a BMW. From other posts here it seems a minor service is around £500-700 and a major is around £1500-2000 Pretty close, a minor service plus brake flui...

Re: Dead Bug in Rear Lamp

This is a shame. I have a small dead spider in mine and had been wondering how it got there and how I’d get it out!
