Re: Power steering plus

I don’t have it on my Gen2 Turbo and have not found the steering to be particularly heavy when manoeuvring at low speed.

Re: Sainsburys 97 octane super unleaded

Looks pretty obvious to me. The diseasale pump is black and petrol is green… 🤷‍♂️ Perhaps obvious if you know that the UK uses these colours for pump handles. But as I said, I haven’t lived in the UK for a long time. I think the colouring is not standard internationally and the US, for example, has...

Re: Best value oil? Mobil 1 or another...

Stumbled across this link to Mobil UK oil selector whilst randomly surfing the internet.

https://www.mobil.co.uk/en-gb/engine-oil

It suggests 0W-20 for 3.0 Gen 2 and 0W-30 for 2.9

Re: Best value oil? Mobil 1 or another...

I was under the impression that oil required is C20/0w-20 for V6 3.0 and C30/0w-30 or 5w-30 for the V6 bi-turbo 2.9 if driving in Europe. Also that the sticker on the engine overrides any details in the manual. Anyone able to enlighten me as to why this is not correct?

Re: Winters to Summers

I tend to use the UK clock change, last weekend in October to last weekend in March, as a trigger to change summer to winter and visa versa. This seems to generally match when daily average temperatures drop to around 7deg C.

Re: Porsche Vodafone tracker renewal

The VTS system monitored by Vodafone which is installed in the Macan is a Thatcham Cat 5 approved tracker according to the insurance certificate I have and accepted by my insurance company.

Re: Online Owners Manual for Macan S 2024?

You can use the link to access manuals for pre March 22 vehicles Steve, but alas for those you do need to input an appropriate VIN number.
