Re: Cancelled GTS
Only had it a couple of weeks and c400 miles, it’s a pdk and blindingly fast - quicker than the numbers quoted by Porsche, I’ve clocked a sub 4 second 0-60 - albeit I accept measurement wasn’t very scientific ! The back end can get a little wayward, especially in Sport Plus but the roads are greasy ...

Re: Cancelled GTS
I think the GT4 slot was a cancellation and rather than bumping to the next on the list we were offered it given past and potential future business, I’d have gone for it but we live out in the sticks and I was worried about the ground clearance - not a lot lower than the GTS (PASM - 10 mm) but the e...

Re: Cancelled GTS
I’m talking to my sales exec with a view to doing the same, have a deposit down on a GTS and on the EV list. Sold the S after just over a year for what I paid for it and was Intending making do without a Porsche in the stable until the end of the year, however having been offered a GT4 slot for Apri...

Re: Outgoing 2019 2.0 - incoming 2020 S
Ha ha - we do tend to go for the more ‘out there’ colours - the 440 was snapper rocks blue. The Miami Blue one did have the roof, but didn’t use it very much so the lack of one on the new one wasn’t a deal breaker. Over the boarder in Kent so likely not us albeit it’s been down to Bexhill a few time...

Re: Outgoing 2019 2.0 - incoming 2020 S
Thank you all, addresses the questions - 2.0 l to 3.0l l - Sounds much better and has a lot more go when joining fast moving traffic, fuel consumption is only about 10% more so all in all very happy with the change. I have a tendency to change cars often, the preceding 440 lasted a little longer tha...

Outgoing 2019 2.0 - incoming 2020 S
Good morning all and happy New Year. Having enjoyed my 2 litre I’m lucky enough to have been able to upgrade without loosing too much money (a nice change from BMW ownership!). We welcomed the attached to the stable a few weeks ago, fairly heavily optioned stock car from OPC Tonbridge, this time I’v...

Oil Service
Good morning All, Replaced our Miami Blue 2.0 with a new Carmine Red S a couple of weeks ago, now I have the portal set up I’ve noticed it is seeking an oil change in Feb 22 - car has covered 450 miles. OPC has said this is because it was moved around on very short journeys pre delivery and the peri...

An odd buzz
Having covered about 600 miles in the car I’ve noticed a road surface related buzz coming from what I thought was the drivers door mirror area, local OPC took the car in and had it for 3 days - decided it wasn’t the mirror but stripped the drivers door and returned the car fixed - 50 miles later the...

Re: New Macan
It’s a 2.0 litre, I considered the S but I’d decided to chop in the 440 because living where we do out in the country I was never on a road where you could put the power down. Whilst I’m 70 bhp down on the BM, the four wheel drive and gearbox makes it feel quicker.
