When I bought mine, this functionality was programmed in before the unit was sent to me, I was specifically asked. However I believe it can be changed afterwards as there is a USB port on the module that can be used for updates. I'm guessing you bought this from Flat 6 Motorsports, best to ask them?

This is a wireless charging device, but yes with a Car2Play dongle you've got wireless carplay and charging - neat solution.

Just had an email from my OPC that confirmed any aftermarket item which is not approved by Porsche would invalidate any warranty claim. So thanks, but no thanks.
