I have a 17 plate SD, when i asked my local OPC about having this done they told me it would invalidate my extended warranty!

Did you know that having your tyres or windscreen wipers etc. renewed by anywhere other than an OPC invalidates your extended Warranty.
Anyone had a problem with their OPC regarding this?

So, to follow that through, you would have to use a OPC just for say, new tyres.

This seems a big grey area to me. Was there not a court case a few years ago the outcome of which was as long as Porsche parts were used you could have the work done wherever you liked with invalidating your warranty.

Purchased my Macan SD from OPC just over 2 years ago and had the same problem. It was like trying to deal with a secret organization.
Like getting blood out of a stone. Did it in the end though.
What worried me was the REASON why they are so secretive.

I agree with most of what you say, OPC costs are a rip off. However, i have a DS on a 17,plate so you also need to factor in that its servicing requires to be carried out up to a max. of 2 years as long as you dont do big mileage. I do about 6K a year so in fact you should half those costs compared ...

Surely the point of the boards are to be able to step onto them before stepping onto the ground. Not to step over them.

Just wondering what sort of £s i can expect to be charged at a OPC for the minor service (20k miles) of my Macan DS on a 17 plate.
Had the car for about 18 months and this will be my first service with the car.
