Re: Driving in Snow

Arg - heartbreaking! Glad no one was behind the car at the time. Nothing you could do - simply physics in play unfortunately. Would winter tyres have stopped the slide or would full Nordic studs have been required? I've been down steep (1 in 8?) hills of packed snow, where it has gone slightly tran...

Suspension system fault ABS/PSM failure AWD fault – only rear wheel drive Parking brake fault GRA/ACC...

Re: PTV Plus

My Macan SD with PTV+ seems to wear the rear brakes at the same rate as the front brakes so all get changed together. So far that's been only once at 37,500 miles.

Re: Windscreen Replacement - Autoglass / Non OEM

I contacted Autoglass and told them that, as my car was under warranty, it required a Porsche OEM screen. They got permission from Aviva and fitted a Porsche screen. The car was over five eyars old at the time.

Re: Oops...

Nice to hear Giz9. Re insurance and write-off, do they take into account cost of hire car? If parts aren't readily available and it takes 2 to 3 months to repair, hire car bill (I have legal cover and as it's the other party's fault I get like-for-like vehicle) will be £15k per month...3 months at ...
