Re: Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB)

Just read a Cayenne review in Car & Driver that had the PSCB brakes and it says they make a lot of noise when wet. That may be an issue in the UK. Quote “ The brakes squeal in wet conditions, which drew some sideways glances in parking lots.” Not had squealing from my brakes, in wet or dry cond...

Re: Porsche Dash Cam

Had a call from my OPC today, next week there will be a promotion introductory offer for the Porsche dash cam £795 for camera and fully fitted compared to rrp £880. Not a bargain but I’m going to get it. Will get some back in part through cheaper car insurance and also provide protection from these...

Re: Porsche Dash Cam

Is having one ever going to save you £1,000? Yes, it could . If you're involved in an accident that wasn't your fault, but you had no independent witnesses because the other party holds you at fault. Your claim might then be settled on a 50-50 basis. And your NCD hit, even if protected. And then yo...

Re: Porsche Dash Cam

Unless it's got a rearward facing camera, I wouldn't bother.

Ah yes, even when you think you've locked your spec, bought the car you want, the OPC will lure you in further. I ordered a GTS and came away with a Turbo!

Re: Jet black turbo

Just washed mine again tonight, cannot believe the lack of brake dust! I’ll save a fortune on iron and fallout remover, which will be swallowed up when the pads and disks need replacing.

Thanks all very useful

Went for the kit for £16 which included 325ml of polish. I might do the bonnet and get the bug!

Once you feel how smooth the panel is after using the polish, you'll have the whole car done in a couple of hours
