To me gap insurance is worthwhile because you could be looking at a big difference between the replacement cost of a car and any insurance pay out. ALA will give you a much better quote than the OPC.

Tyre and alloy cover is expensive. You could replace a tyre and repair an alloy for that figure.

Depending on mileage and how you drive, there could also be brake disks and pads at £2k

If it was a good location then there would be a grandstand here not the PEC. If you like the grand prix then you are better off at Luffield or another corner then you could save enough for the trip to Spa
