Re: 911 Turbo S

Like VanB, I've checked the front splitter and it's plain back plastic, unpainted. Ditto the side skirts and the rear panel around the exhausts. Well best of luck getting it replaced if you ever need to, there is only one part number for a front spoiler that fits a 991.2 GTS and it comes in Primer....

Re: 911 Turbo S

Maybe he went for painted options? I didn't go for the 10mm option but stuck with the -20mm and the unpainted trim on front splitter and sideskirts etc in anticipation of potential problems. In reality, I rarely have an issue in grounding unless there is an exceptionally large speed bump or unusual...

Re: 911 Turbo S

Couple of things to query there Adrian: My 991.2 C2 GTS has the moulded black plastic front splitter, unpainted. Same with side skirts. When I ordered mine the standard GTS suspension was lowered 20mm compared with other Carreras. There was an option to have 10mm lowered suspension rather than stan...

Re: 911 Turbo S

Generally not with normal speed bumps or ramps but occasionally one is slightly too high or a ramp needs approaching on an angle. There is a plastic rubbing strip on the lower front lip which is cheap and easy to replace if you have too many incidents! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk My 991.2 C4...

Re: Hello Porsche fans!

I spent a very long time deciding if I should order a new 3L S for delivery in April, keep my GTS for another three years or take one of the new 2L cars that was available last month. I borrowed a gen 1 Macan 2L over a long weekend covering over 360 miles and decided it fitted my needs better than e...

Re: Hello Porsche fans!

Mrs Macan, you are going to get so many different opinions about what is right and wrong and unfortunately very few are backed up by real facts, all the negative opinions about the 2L will be from owners of the 3L current models (SD, S, GTS, Turbo) as the 2L is so new not many will have driven it ye...

Re: Fuel for my new Macan 2.0 Petrol

Ferdie the problem with asking a question like that on the forum is that you will get so many different answers because everyone has an opinion. 🤔 The best source of information on what fuel to use is the drivers manual from Porsche, below is an extract from the current manual for the new 2019 Porsc...

Re: Prices disappeared from Confuserator!

"WLTP, in its true form, will come into circulation this autumn, but its CO2 figures are not scheduled to be linked to vehicle tax until April 2020. Confirmation is expected in November’s Budget. Until then, every car that undergoes the test has a new ‘NEDC-correlated’ value, using a tool call...
