The Smart module is 'plug and play'. It's fits behind the trim in the rear boot lid. It's about a 30min to 1hr to fit.
Thanks
Nick

Re: Transfer Box Replacement
Just for a bit of additional information the revision 'A' transfer box was introduced in March 2018, it has gas nitrocarburising (GNC) on the clutch plates. If you had your transfer box replaced around or before that time it will have been the same type that the car had from new, i.e. just a likely/...

If it's a PCM3.1, its a known issue. PCM software needs updating to latest version.

Re: Banging whilst on full lock
If it's banging rather than just the scrubbing of the tyres at full lock, it's almost certainly the start of a transfer case problem/failure. It probably goes away with smaller/narrow winter tyres as they generally have less grip and put less strain on the transfer case. Try putting the car in off-r...

Re: Leaking Roof????
If you open the panoramic roof is the wind deflector wet? It the channel it sits in full with water?
If they both are wet, the moving the section of the panoramic roof needs to be moved forward a couple of mm. The OPC should be able to do this in 30mins or so.
Good luck getting it fixed.

Re: Leaking Roof????
Initially, I'd get the drains checked. It's a simple procedure, particularly for the back drains. Certainly no trim needs removing to check the drains..... Yes some trim needs removing to check if the pipes are fractured, but it's not particularly likely given the age of the car. Many thanks for you...

Re: Leaking Roof????
We've seen this before on the Macan, obviously check the drain holes at the front of the sunroof with it open and also the rear drains; easiest way is to pull them out from behind the removal trim panels at the back and then clean them and then re-insert with a bit of silicone lubricant. Once cleane...

Re: Transfer Box Replacement
Just for info as far as I'm aware there is no 'uprated' version of the transfer box. Porsche are still using the same part number as they've used from the very start of Macan production. If the part had been superseded it would normally have a later version suffix and there is none for the transfer ...

Re: PDK neutral
I think this is reversed for the 'proper' sports cars in the range
Worked fine on my Boxster and 911's I've driven in the past.

Porsche's recommendation is normally replace discs at the same time as the pads. I My invoice says Front discs at 33mm with minimum = 32...
