Re: Supermarket Fuel
As Simon indicated : GTB has eventually turned up :D :D I did repeat a previous post on fuel in the UK and diffrences between oil company and supermarket brands. I indicated that out of all the supermarket brands Sainsbury has a a unique fuel supply agreement with bp. So although signage and livery ...

Re: Supermarket Fuel
I regularily see my local OPC filling their cars up @ Sainsbury with E10 95 Octane, ! asked 1 of the staff why and he answered it was because the dealership wouldn't pay the extra for E5 !! So that will be the Porsche warranty expired, null and void then before the customer has even bought the car ...

Re: Macan winter/offroad tyres advice needed
I bought a set of 19" winter wheels and tyres from Porsche and they came with Pirelli Scorpions . Used them last two winters on the West coast Scotland and found them to be really good in snow, slush, but also big diffrence where there are pools of standing water. Just put my 21" summer wh...

Re: Cracked windscreen
Vix,
Yes the original 1 - 2mm without doubt yes. The issue is I have a full 7mm gap on one side, and its a sharp edge so washing the car, you would slice your fingers on the edge of that trim. It really isnt right.
Cheers GTB

Re: Cracked windscreen
Steve, Thanks for that, exactly what I needed. Just wanted to ensure I wasnt loosing my mind. My before photos show a 1 - 2mm gap between trim edge and glass all the way down, also gap is parallel all the way. Even the video Autoglass took and emailed me before they started work shows that small gap...

Re: Cracked windscreen
Oh Well...........................................   So to keep you all updated, Autoglass said it would be yesterday to fit the Porsche Windscreen and recalibrate cameras at one of their branches. My local OPC said 2 days to get parts and basically fit straight away. When I challeng...

Re: Porsche ID
speedking998877, That happened to me when I first got my car and know exactly how annoying it was. If I can find it, I will post. But basically in the PCM personal settings menu for Porsche ID, there were a few ways of configuring that. From memory default was using the inbuilt sim connection and th...

Re: Insurance
GWL, Totally agree with your post and info. I have had "Issues" over the years, and always ensure I get things in writing for all my car renewal policies. All three cars we have Im the registered keeper, but also the "Main" Driver, Mrs GTB is also a named driver on all three cars...
