Re: Price increase

Your car won’t lock down until its freeze date regardless of when your final spec was entered into the system, so whether or not you have to pay this price increase is really down to your OPC and how much of a “price promise” OPC they are… Good luck! Let us know what the outcome is tomorrow.

Re: Price increase

I think you’re subject to price increases until your build is locked… There was a price increase from the time I ordered to the time of finalizing my spec and I had to suck that up, along with increased interest rates too! Very annoying but pricing and interest rates aren’t set in stone until your c...

Re: Macan S Test drive + Deposit tomorrow?

The 14 way seats give you leather seats front and rear, but to have leather along the dash, door trims and centre console lid, you need to also add the leather package or extended leather package. 14 way seats: leather seats front and rear. 14 way seats + leather package: leather seats, top of dashb...

Re: Tool Update

Speed bumps do need a little respect but auto lift is brilliant, so long as you slow down enough! Problem with the open vents behind the front wheels is solved by having the electric opening charger covers. One of the main reasons I specced them and also the fact they are quite cool! I think I jinx...

Re: Tool Update

I’m 5ft 3 so still can’t wash the Taycan roof.. just the roof rails :D The gap bits (what is the technical term for these?!?) behind the front wheels/at the front of the doors are constantly full of stones! I keep picking them out before I set off because I’m worried they’ll blow out at speed and ch...

Re: What a tool.............. (new vehicle, as requested)

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the car so far bennachie! I’m 3 weeks and 800 miles into mine and I don’t think the smiles will ever stop… I look back every time I park! I agree the car doesn’t feel that wide when you’re actually driving it. Does yours have the rear axle steering? Mine does and it feel...

Re: Residuals

Yes, and a p/ex against what. If a Taycan they will over allow bundles on the P/ex as they would otherwise just discount the new car. Lots of unknowns in estymasko post. Was it lightly optioned which helps with depreciation rates, was it p/ex'd or just sold etc etc. Hope my 72 plate has only lost 1...

Re: Residuals

If it helps, I just sold my 2022 Macan S (72 plate) to an OPC and it had a 16% loss after 14 months and 11K miles. I lost 12% after 15 months last July but that was a px deal against a 911. Was yours a straight sale Esty or a px?? I suspect there would be a difference between the two? Yes, and a p/...

Welcome to the Taycan dark side!

You won’t regret it. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and absolutely love it. Look forward to seeing your collection photos!
