Re: Government Petition regarding high car insurance rises
Expecting the government to do something because you can't afford your Porsche insurance hahahaha Mine went up 140%, I shopped around and no one could beat the renewal quote. Motobike went up 50% as well. Initially thought maybe there were a load of thefts in my area, but I tried quoting from other ...

Re: Porsche Experience waiting times
Ordered last Nov and did mine in the middle of the summer, think I was offered a space early spring but couldn't do the date. There seemed to be plenty of availability as I was offered lots of alternative dates.

Re: Selling via Motorway
I couldn't get motorway app to work when selling a car recently so tried car wow instead. Very pleaesd with the service and got 3k over trade in value on the car. I would definitely use them again. I had literally same experience, started down the motorway route but it was overly complicated and lo...

Picked up the pumpkin
Some people have said it's ginger, but seeing as it's halloween I'm calling it the pumpkin. Took a while to get here, 49 weeks from placing deposit, but all my frustrations with the order process, price increases and delays evaporated once I was pick it up :D Usual low qualtiy showroom pics below. H...

Re: Re News today regarding Shell's profit.
Do you want companies like Shell and BP to choose to base themselve in the UK, or do you want to drive them away somewhere with lower taxes? I think it's great for the UK that these companies are based here at all. The people calling for windfall taxes on foreign earnings have no clue how the world ...

Re: Asked to sign a new order form on day of collection
Nothing to add other than - I'm also with Porsche West London and I've sent over multiple configurator codes since my deposit, only landing on the final spec a few weeks ago. Not heard anything re:lock in, but that won't be until December for me. Who were you dealing with? I get the impression my S...

Re: Asked to sign a new order form on day of collection
Yes I do, but WBAC won't accept a mileage lower than 1000 miles! haha so much for their name! plus its so new it's not in their BD yet. They're not the people to go to anyway, I'd approach some prestiege car dealers.

Re: Asked to sign a new order form on day of collection
Porsche GB do send a comprehensive survey, but it's unlikely that you'll get one if you don't buy the car. Martino8's suggestion seems sound if the price now is too much or you lose patience, however, otherwise you are no worse off than the rest of us and, I for one, still think it'll be worth the ...

Re: Asked to sign a new order form on day of collection
The fact the car is already registered should put some pressure on them. If the car has a registered owner on the V5, they can sell it used for a large markup. Win for them. If customer satisfaction is not one of their goals, then agreed it is a win. The last 3 new vehicles I've bought have all had...
