Contrast all the above with the Nissan Armada V8 4wd I was driving last week from Vegas to the grand canyon via monent valley. The concensus is that it is prohibitive to (legally) upgrade to Xenons because of the wiring / giros / headlamp wash...

Nothing will show until the car has covered a few miles and has warmed up. Once stationary and on the level it shows half full.....and funnily enough, when driving as well? I wonder if it has a clever flow metre to meause the actual quantity...?

To resurrect this old thread and reassure or confirm that the oil level guage is an accurate measure. I had the warning message up the other day on my 17000 mile GTS, “oil level low, put in up to a litre, safe to drive” or words to that effect.
