Re: UK Winter Driving in a GTS, Tyre/Wheel Advice Please

When I lived in Bavaria most local Macan owners dropped to 18 or 19 inch wheels for their winter tyres. Often the German OPCs have special offers on complete sets, and even sell off lightly used sets (Porsche approved) at the end of the season. Presume you want N rated full winters? If you search Bl...

Re: Apple Car Play

IOS 12 is now out. Isn't it suppose to allow Waze etc on CarPlay? It'll be interesting to see how well it works.

Re: Macan GTS first service

Gosh how our US brethren (at www.macanforum.com) would laugh at some of the paranoia expressed in this thread!

Some of us couldn't afford to buy a Porsche in the first place unless we looked for ways to avoid throwing money away!

4 plastic spreader clips, plus unclip and remove the handle, then it pulls out from a number of trim clips in the body.

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

Who is the service manager in Belfast as I am due first service now, not based on miles but age. Coming 2 years old and 6500 miles lol. Whats the deal with getting a decent courtesy car, whose palm needs to be crossed? I will likely get them to collect the car as I'm 50 miles from the dealer and do...

The model x is definitely wider.

The dimensions you have above are not correct.
Width is 2072 with the mirrors folded and 2271 with the mirrors out.
It is the longest and widest.
Blimey. Six inches wider than the Macan! Eurotunnel standard carriages must be fun!

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

I had thought of the Adblue thing. I put in 20l myself at the weekend. I had not thought of screen wash. The loaner will be a surprise. With 18 months before the three year warranty expires it should be serviced again before then, unless there is merit in booking ahead? In that case you should be f...

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

20,000 mile Service next week. I have never had a DPF light although as I reported on here I experienced an Orange Warning that necessitated a low loader. It was never fully explained but the presence of soot in DPF was noted. Anyway any Do’s or Don’ts recommendations regarding first Service? March...
