I don’t mind diesels coming into London, so long as they coast the last 2km and keep the engine off for the duration of your stay :-)
And I thought that you too were a diesel owner with an ironic username

Re: Just had a call from Vodafone

It was outside my office window - I could see it from my desk. Did you tell them that? I only ask because it's interesting. They are monitoring the car on your behalf, plus you 'knew' the call was from Vodafone - I presume that their number is in your contacts? Perhaps some clever two-way authentic...

Re: I have a delivery date!

Very smart - you won't lose that in Waitrose car park! :D No interior lights, when opening doors? Switched off on the roof console... switch with car with door open image lit? Mine was delivered with interior lights switched off - perhaps that's the default delivery setting! I had to call the dealer...

When the parking sensors are bugging you in traffic
Sometimes they just need a really good clean. Even a residue of cleaning products may be enough to trigger them erroneously. There have also been reports of slightly loose front number plates triggering them.

Can't help there as I am on the old PCM. Mine's assigned to 'next track' which I find very useful.

Re: Adding Apps To CarPlay?

I haven't found one single app that is useful in carplay. They're mostly radio stations or US sports sites. I don't have it in my 'old' Macan, but on my last few visits to UK I have found the Carplay Apple Maps feature very useful in hire cars (as I am far too tight to pay extra for satnav! :D )
