Re: Carrera T on winter wheels/tyres.

I would have said to spray those wheels with autoglym 'wheel protector' and you won't have to clean them until spring. However, today I applied some to my Sport Designs and it covered them in white residue - not sure what happened there! :? I've used it before with no problems.

Re: Creaks and clunks

Apologies, first post on the forum. Got that one wrong I guess. Nick, did you ever solve the overhead console rattle. You may find that the overhead console has been removed in the past, either to repair something or perhaps to fit a dashcam, etc. It is apparently very easy to break one of the clip...

Re: GTS exhaust tips

Is changing the tips an easy DIY job? My car was in for service last week and they have submitted a case to Porsche to replace them. As the dealer is a 100 mile round trip that I don't fancy doing I wondered can they send me the tips and I fit myself? Apparently (according to the US Forum) it takes...

Re: Macan satellite navigation

Snap! I’d just googled that myself. I see for 2017-18 Macans its only £300. I’m presuming they talking MY17 and MY18. He actually lists that one as a Tequipment kit. No harm in emailing your VIN to him an seeing what he says - I would tend to trust an answer from this 'CarPlay' specialist more than...

Re: Macan satellite navigation

The satellite navigation in my 2015 Macan was out of date when it was built. Porsche tell me it cannot be updated even though they charged me £299 to do it. They did refund the £299 six months later. Does anyone know why the sat nav cannot be updated? It ofetn tells me that I'm driving off-road whe...

Re: Pulling the plug...

Hopefully GPS-based with a plethora of cheat/jammer devices available on eBay - can't wait! :D Maybe? But equally I can imagine that would be regarded as a fairly serious road traffic offence with penalties stiff enough to discourage most potential users (and probably relatively easy to detect too)...
