Re: 2019 Macan turbo 2.9 TT V6

I seem to recall that as part of the facelift there were modifications to the front suspension to improve steering feel and response. Quote below from an Autocar review of the facelift. Porsche says the Macan’s driving dynamics have been further improved with the facelifted model, suggesting that fi...

Re: Wanted - High Spec SD

This SD is on sale at Porsche Sutton Coldfield. Six months older than the one you were looking at but more comprehensive spec.

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/Mac ... sel-200340

It shows that the price of the car you're looking at is within the "normal" price range for a 2017 car.

Re: Cost of Owning a Macan SD for 5 years

Not heard of any, other than “On track’s“ but clearly not on that day 🙄. Though I did break a spring once in the wife’s Golf GTI, that cost £150 for the pair. Porsche pricing can be brutal 😖 Cost of parts (rear spring pack of two and sundry other items) was just over £100. It was the four wheel ali...

I'd say. That must have been some pothole!
Funnily enough, no. I was reversing up the drive at less than 5mph.

Relooking at the video taken by the OPC there were signs of corrosion at the break point so I'm assuming it must have been partially fractured for some time.

Re: Picked up my new GTS today

Congratulations. I'm still waiting to find out when mine is going to arrive at the OPC (hopefully next week). Ironic since both cars came over on the same ship.

What surprised me was replacing the rear springs. Do they typically need replacing?

Only if they break

I think I'm the only one on the forum to have experienced this with a Macan.

Re: Aventurine Green

Just goes to show that all colours are Marmite choices. As long as your son thinks it's great that's all that matters. In any event, he'll spend most of his time on the inside looking out and having a great time in a fantastic car.

Re: Thoughts on this Macan

Welcome to the forum. The car looks great. The car's manufacturer's warranty will either have expired or being on the point of doing so. A key consideration is what warranty is on offer. If you buy from a Porsche OPC then you get a two year warranty. If the selling dealer has a full history availabl...
