Re: Gone ... Sapphire blue on Cayman!

I had a Miami Blue Cayman as a loan car and that looked really good.

Another Cayman Loan Car

My Macan SD was in the OPC yesterday having replacement summer tyres fitted and I had the use of a Cayman 718 for the day. This is the second time I've driven a Cayman. The first time was a manual and this one was an automatic. As my gear changing skills are a little rusty, I felt more at home with ...

Yes, but the GTS is more fun 😄
Probably. I wasn’t point scoring. Just comparing. I’ve been wondering if the missus would notice if I bought a GTS and said it was an Oil Burner.
You'd be telling the truth: petrol is just oil at a different refining stage. :)

Found this forum searching for “Macan whining?” Sounds about right. There is endless whining on here.

Re: 3.5 months & onto 4th courtesy car

Given how much you paid for this car I think you have a right to expect it to be right. I think there are three courses of action: 1. Meet with the dealer principal and ask him what action he is taking to remedy the problem. 2. Take the matter up direct with Porsche GB. 3. Reject the car and either ...

Re: Explore New Macan on Porsche GB Website

It all depends on what you mean by making sense. The Macan is based on the platform of the previous generation Q5 so it makes technical sense that there was no provision in the platform design for a hybrid or electric drive system. Whether it makes commercial sense for Porsche to wait until 2022 to ...

Re: Explore New Macan on Porsche GB Website

Looks pretty good to me, although it would take an all new model to tempt me back into a Porsche. Basically something to rival the iPace. I don't think there's even going to be a hybrid one of these is there? I'm sure I read somewhere that it would take too much of a platform alteration to incorpor...

Re: Macan rear wheel slipping

I only read this thread this afternoon. Funnily enough, my first thought was transfer box. I shouldn't worry about the remaining CV joints as I think your OPC has finally got to the source of the problem. It would be interesting to know just how many transfer boxes Porsche has had to replace. There ...

Re: Explore New Macan on Porsche GB Website

I looked on the website and even downloaded the brochure. It's amazing that there is so much information about the "new" car apart from one minor detail: what makes it go. If just some of the motoring journalists are right it looks as if when the order book opens in September only the 2L wil...

Re: Paninc -or is this normal

It needs to be 22241-1 spec and not just 2224. You can see this detail on the inside of the fuel filler flap. I went looking in Halfords for Adblue today. Because their product stated compliance with ISO 22241, I didn't buy it but instead ordered from Amazon. However, after placing the order I did ...
