Re: New Owner Soon!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

My only comment on your spec is to ask why you've specced the Sports Tips in Silver and not Black? With Black Roof Rails and window surrounds I'd have thought black exhaust tips would have continued the theme.

Re: New owner to be

This has happened before when the new test regime was introduced. Maybe there's a delay in getting "Certificates of Conformance" for Gen 3 models. Not sure why that would effect 911s though.

Re: Spare wheel

As it's only intended as a "Get You Home" feature, buy the cheapest which is the 18". I think the complete kit (jack etc) is quite expensive as a retro fit.

Re: New member saying Hi and help!!!

I bet you would hit the sports exhaust button a lot more than you would use sports chrono. Totally agree Me too for PSE. Using Sport or Sport Plus settings also auto switches on PSE. Sport chrono function most used by me is for the 20 sec over boost button on the steering wheel for even more rapid ...

Re: I've taken the plunge

Those wheels will be easier to clean than the 20" Spiders that come as standard on a Gen 2 GTS. It takes me as long to clean the wheels as it does the rest of the car.

Brecon Beacons is a great place to try out the handling of a new car.

Re: Macan Security

When I'm out, I always park away from other cars but that's more to avoid careless door openers rather than because I'm worried about security. My car lives on the driveway because it's too big to fit in the garage. Not that worried about security TBH as I don't have keyless entry on my cars.

Re: Headlight always on

Hey guys, when I turned the lights to Auto, the headlight is always on recently. Not sure why, any suggestions? What type of headlights do you have? If they are halogen then the inside headlight functions as a daytime running light. Regardless of light type, the auto function seems to turn the ligh...

Re: I've taken the plunge

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your Gen 2 GTS, they're great cars. You never know, in a few months you may well end up asking for your deposit back on the Gen 3 car.

Re: Reversing camera not coming on

Make sure the parking brake is off.

When I took delivery of my Cayenne back in 2013, the SE and a technician spent half an hour trying to cure the same "fault" you have only to eventually realise that the camera did not work with the parking brake applied.

Re: Macan seating position and seats

The car I sat in had 18-way electric sports seats and found that I was sitting on the seat rather than sitting in the seat (if you catch my drift). Also found the side bolsters quite snug and pretty uncomfortable getting in and out of the seat. Should I consider the comfort or GTS seats? Or maybe I...
