I got a couple of these to fit in the small holes in the cap. Put one in each hole, manoeuvre and simply pull off ( oooohh vicar!!!) They were a little wide at the ends so I simply filed them down a little :D

Re: Leather Bolster products

I use the Porsche Leather Conditioner to 'massage' into the exact same area on my 18way seats. Mine do look a little more worn in the same area but if you keep the leather supple it will not dry out and crack. All part of the 'patina' !? ;)

Re: Petrol S - resonance on acceleration

Are you sure the resonance is from outside and is not the plastic tray under the steering column? The tray touches the metal bulkhead near the brake pedal. Some double-sided tape cured it for me.

Re: Cracking in Pirelli AS tyres

There is a long thread about Pirelli P Zeros cracking over on Pistonheads (under Porsche Bobster/Cayman) which is worth checking out. Apparently the N0 version of these tyres had some manufacturing issues resulting in cracking and several posters said that Pirelli had replaced them. The latest N1 v...

Pirelli PZeros on my Cayman are cracking. As a weekend car, is stood for long periods so rubber tends to dry out. Also some tyre dressings can cause drying out and cracking. Still lots of tread so loathed to change but passed MOT with OPC last year-will see what happens at next MOT.

Re: Window and Wind Noise

My Porsche centre mentioned that they had seen issues previously with the window trapping and pinching the felt that guides the window when it closes up into the A Pillar on the Macan. The individual in-charge of warranty repairs said they would like the car for 2 days to replace the window seals, w...
