Windscreen replacement

Hopefully my last post on this. Back from dealer and cameras recalibrated, had a chat with engineer and now understand procedure, 2 to 3 hour job, bill £343.00, had a courtesy car (basic 2 litre petrol macan, ok good for commuting but not a patch on 3 liter) and received my car back fully valeted, d...

Windscreen replacement

Booked In to dealer next week and they have confirmed 2 1/2 hr job and explained procedure, sounds fare bearing in mind the complexity of the modern car, I can't see Autoglass ever being in a position to include this in a screen change so it looks like if you have lane assist etc it will have to be ...

Windscreen replacement

Bit of a story. Still waiting on Autoglass. They tell me they have had to reject 2 windscreens supplied to date as they have had scratches. These are from porsche. I visited my local Porsch dealer last week and they tell me they can change within a few days as screen is in stock but will look in to ...

Mud flaps

I think mud flaps are a real must. I have asked my dealer but with no luck. I really think porsche should address this matter. I'm a bit reluctant to fit third party flaps that will require drilling but if a set could be acquired that would mould to body lines and pickup on existing fixing points I ...

Lock Out!

Sorry just noted you said you only have one button. My macan has 2 buttons on underside of boot door. One to close and one to close and lock. Bill.

Lock Out!

What button did you press to close boot. One button will just close boot. The other button closes boot and then locks all doors. By way you can close boot when in drivers seat with ignition on press boot open button and hold down and boot will power down to close position. Regards bill

Windscreen replacement

Well there is a button on center consol to defrost windscreen and mirrors and though I can't see filaments and my recently departed Range Rover had a heated screen but if you looked closely you could just detect filaments. But the story so far my local dealer has now confirmed that there is a camera...

Windscreen replacement

I agree engine size is critical. But a good engine combined with electrical transmission and decent battery's makes for phenomenal acceleration and nice town or local driving. To small an engine just doesn't work and I'm sure porsche will have this worked out. I'm waiting for a test drive in a Cayen...
