Re: Getting a good deal

I did manage to wrangle a Porsche cool box out of them that plugs into the 12v socket in the boot, but I think as a result I sacrificed my Porsche photo frame. And trust me, I'm sure it would be easier to get 20k off a Merc than a £120 cool box from Porsche. I'd have a go for the wheel warranty, any...

Re: Macan SD - 1st oil Service , now quicker?

Mine has always shown an oil change required at 600 miles before the 20k and 40k services. Hatfield OPC said to just ignore it and stick to 20k intervals for the oil change.

Re: 991.2 - the missing months

The PEC cars are already registered so it won't be one of those. My guess is that it was a showroom car for a few months and registered after that.

Re: New commuter

I ran a BMW 120D for seven years and 140,000 miles. Had a 5 year service pack with it, when I sold it it didn't even have a rattle. Only spent money on tyres and the last 2 years servicing. Never let me me down even once. A good oil burner can go on for donkeys years. There's a lot to be said for kn...

Re: Wanted - 2014/15 Macan

David, morning may I give you a few pointers as I have a 2015 Xenon's should be a must have, check if the previous owner has extended the warranty from three to five years, you can still do it at a cost, check for a spare tyre, look to see if a parking sensor has pushed back into bumper an OPC will...

Re: How useful is a Forum?

Trust me, the OPC's most definitely do read this forum.

I made a complimentary remark on here about my SE. Next time I was in the OPC he thanked me as the DP had read my comments and had given him a lot of praise for his work with me. He's worked out it was me from the comments made and my name.

Re: Macan S Diesel - Brake & Disc Costs??

Here's my recent invoice from my local OPC for new discs and pads all round for my SD, the brake warning light came on at 24000 miles. The discs didn't look to bad but my OPC said that they needed changing. Oh that's very interesting...nice to verify the parts costs. I'm coming to the opinion that ...

Re: Porsche Assist Courtesy Car

Yup. Enterprise. £250 each and every chip. I didn't bother going through Porsche with my dispute, I'm quite happy to tell them to f*** off myself. I'd covered the form in damage marks anyway so they had no way out of it. It was delivered to me nearly empty of fuel and I marked that too. I dropped i...
