Re: Macan 2 S confuserator now in place

I specced one I could live with. £70.8k 22k in options PK74CK12 Front end is a bit minging, but I couldn't live with the SD kit styling, so this is not bad. Quite like the 20" wheel options on the version 2. 😱 I only paid £64 K for an all-singing and dancing GTS! (with a massively over-priced inter...

Now that Porsche and Audi are sharing engines, does that mean that Audi owners can boast that their car has a Porsche engine ?
Could be. Both made great engines though.

V8 in the B7 RS4 and R8, 5-pot in the modern TTRS/RS3, etc
Porsche made a couple of good ones too.

Cayennes 'Little Sister'?

Wonder why the feminine terminology for a 2 tonne composition of metal and plastic?

I'm trading out to a rugged, L200 pickup type thingy!

Why not? Big and fat can be feminine too!

The Queen Mary II is feminine and weighs around 150,000 tonnes!

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

Sportsdesign front end looks a bit weird to me with the angular sloping line upwards in the side air intakes. Prefer the standard bumper. I was just flipping back and forth in the configurator between stock and SD kit and the SD looks really quite ugly IMO. Even more so than it did in the old model...

Re: 21" too big?

Doesn't seem to be a great demand for the 21" Sport Classics wheels. Had mine advertised a long time still no serious buyers. Guess I'll be keeping mine since the sale was supposed to finance the replacement wheels(20" RS Spyders). The tires on mine are the michelin latitude sport 3, good tyres I s...

Re: Macan 2.0 T vs Macan S

... and believe me, it still looks and feels like a Porsche ... Well, maybe. Depends on what your expectation on looks and feel. The OP sounds like he thinks Porsche is a premium brand, and a base 2.0 really isn't that. Even the Turbo needs about £10k of options to truly feel premium. If you mostly...
