Approved Used Prices

Hi, It's fair to say that nearly two years later, I'm still feeling the regret of selling my Gen 1 Macan GTS - I loved that car. I ended up not getting my Gen 2 GTS that I had on order as I was told immediately after selling my Gen 1 that my Gen 2 had an indefinite delay due to semiconductor shortag...

Re: Quickest route to a Gen 3 GTS!

Completely agree with HertsMacan - any premium paid now will ultimately be lost as supply and demand eventually returns to ‘normal’ (doesn’t change the fact that the Macan will continue to hold its value better than almost every other car, but just not the current ‘extra’ premium). It turns out ther...

Re: M3 Touring

I've always loved the thought of owning an M3 Touring. But, whilst I appreciate that an M340i Touring is nowhere near as powerful etc, having bought one last year when my Gen 2 GTS order got indefinitely delayed (and I'd just sold my Gen 1 GTS the day before), I'd have reservations now. I've learnt ...

Re: Quickest route to a Gen 3 GTS!

Thanks again. I've tried to put the Python Green one in the configurator, but I get a very different answer! It still looks to me to be more than £15k over the price of a new one (I'm struggling to replicate the £4.5k difference - it's mostly just the GTS sport package coveraging several of the opti...

Re: Quickest route to a Gen 3 GTS!

Thanks all. Appreciated. Some things for me to think about in there. I’d love to get a nearly new one now and if the premium wasn’t so much, I think I would. But in some cases, I think it’s approaching £25k and that’s just too much to lose once the market stabilises in a year or two (fully accept Ma...

Quickest route to a Gen 3 GTS!

Hi, Having recently found that my Gen 1 GTS that I sold now ‘loves’ just around the corner from me, I’ve realised how much I miss my Macan. I only sold it as I was due to get my Gen 2 GTS a few days later but then heard the unfortunate news that there had been a massive delay in my new car, so I can...

Re: Semiconductor Shortage

I had a call yesterday to tell me that my GTS, which was due to have been completed on Thursday last week (and was indeed showing that info on Thursday!), has now been pushed back to completion at factory of 30 Sept. It also seems unclear whether that means that my car had even been started or is no...

Re: New Porsche Macan GTS - 2021 Facelift

It’s going to be interesting seeing what the new GTS is going to be like but also how much it is going to cost. I’m selling my Gen1 GTS in a couple of weeks, now that I’ve finally reached the freeze point on a Gen2 GTS last week. I was keen to get a Gen2 with all the buttons; I’m sure the Gen3 with ...

Agreed - I was advised today that my freeze point has slipped a further three weeks and is now 6 June.

Re: Seat options have disappeared?

My freeze point has slipped from an original date of early April through to 3 May, then 7 May and now 16 May. Reading all the various posts from members here, it does sound as if Porsche doesn't quite have a consistent narrative on this yet and it's difficult to understand what the actual main cause...
