Today Sheepleas car park in Surrey was covered in snow (on a hill). VW Golf stuck halfway up - I helped push it but we couldn’t budge it. So I felt smug as my Pirelli Scorpion winters let me drive right around it without a hint of slippage from a start on the hill!

SD 18000 miles, 5mm all round. Pretty good for a car this size I think and certainly half the wear of previous X5s.

Sapphire blue is not a standard Cayenne colour on the configurator. All the 6 Sapphire blue Cayennes on Autotrader are 2016+. Are buyers specifying SB after seeing Macans in that colour?

20 inch summers, 14000 miles, 5+mm all round currently. Looks like I'll be changing them at 20000ish when they hit 3mm. About the same as my previous X3 and much better than a previous X5. Happy with that.

It is of course personal taste but in my view BMW Estoril blue is nowhere near as striking or expensive looking in terms of depth of colour as Porsche sapphire blue
