I wonder how well these percentages match Porsche data on failures, not that we will ever find out!
I find it worrying that so many units are failing and can’t understand why a TB needs a breather pipe in the first place if that is indeed the cause.

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members
Well today my ‘lightly’ used Oct 15 SD with 4.5k miles was diagnosed with transfer box failure.😕 The first thing I noticed was a delay in 1st and reverse gears engaging. Then on a couple of occasions the revs momentarily increased between a 1st to 2nd gear change mainly whilst moving in slow traffic...

360 Degree Dashcam
I never did get round to fitting a dashcam but interested to see there are now some with a 360 degree view. There's one due out called the Secure360 which comes in two form factors WiFi or 4G enabled. The 4G one looks good so maybe in time for my facelift Macan...assuming Porsche don't have one as a...

Re: Diesel GONE!
I see the FT reported last month that law firms Your Lawyers and Slater and Gordon are going to the UK High Court in March for approval of a Group Litigation Order against VWG over the emissions scandal. Some 55,000 owners have signed up, does not mention Porsche in the list of VWG cars though. It a...

Random oil level readings
So the car was in for its first service the other day and just before it went in I checked the oil level. Engine was up to temp on a level surface, waited 2 mins, reading was one mark down from max. When I got home from the service I checked and it was still sitting at the same mark rather than max!...

Re: Gtechniq C1 and EXO problems
I’m in touch with the Detailer so will wait and see what transpires, I’m not sure about their accreditation but they are a well known company in this space. It’s frustrating that my Beemer sits outside in all weathers protected by R222 wax and has none of these problems! I have just received some Ca...

Re: Gtechniq C1 and EXO problems
The car is always dried and I use a tester to check the filter is 0ppm. The spotting in not visible when dry but on a damp morning that’s when it shows up. It seems the issue was with the earlier versions of EXO, (my car was detailed 2 yrs ago) I understand V3 was developed to eliminate the problem....

Gtechniq C1 and EXO problems
Hi, Just wondering whether other members have experienced issues with water spotting on cars treated with EXO? Our Macan was professionally detailed and I hate to admit is a bit of a ‘garage queen’ having covered not a lot of miles in two years. Cleaning is snowfoam, rinse, wash, Raceglaze filter ri...

Re: some good news for diesels
