Re: Macan - PCP negotiating

...I suspect the GFV is set by VW finance and therefore they don't have any flexibility on that one. I agree. I very much doubt that the OPC could amend the final balloon payment. You’re better off bartering for a discount on the purchase price. They might call it a ‘manufacturer’s allowance’ rathe...

Re: 992 - Litchfield do it again.

My only concern with this 195ps remap would be insurance. Most insurers limit the car to a performance percentage increase, which I think is around the 20% mark. With this being more than a 50% hike I suspect you would need to seek out a specialist insurer rather than one of the mainstream lot. I s...

Re: 21" Turbo or 20" Black Turbo

I've actually got both sets now (in black) for my Panamera turbo, whilst the 21 inch looks lovely the ride quality of the 20 inch, especially with winter tyres on, feels so much nicer. I struggle to detect much difference in ride quality in my Carrera T between 20” wheels with summer tyres and 19” ...

Maybe the way forward is a base 992 + Litchfield upgrade. The total (including suspension) would likely be less than a 992S
I agree! (If not concerned about Porsche warranty) ;)

For me, it’s worth the calculated risk. :geek:

Well I’ve finally got my quote from Iain at Litchfield. Just attempting to haggle.
Wish me luck.
Good luck. Although to be fair, I think they offer good value for money (compared to Porsche)! ;)

Re: Greetings

Very smart. Congrats! :)

Maybe try contacting a Porsche dealership near you when you are in the UK for the build code/spec?

Re: Drainage ducts need cleaning Sir. Kerching!!

I really do question how wise it is to opt for the pano roof. I know the sales folk say “oh it’s a must have option and you will only be able to sell your Macan for £8.50 if you don’t have one fitted etc etc”. In reality mine has been open a handful of times in 2.5 years and the trouble it has caus...

Whatever the exact details, I have great faith in Litchfield and I believe that they do fantastic work, which has lead to an excellent reputation.
