Roofboxes

Can someone help explain roof boxes to me please - it turns out I haven’t a clue yet I need one! I have the factory roof rails on the car so I guess I need to roof transport system (horizontal bars) but does that then limit me to the Porsche roofbox or can I use some of the Thule boxes instead? Than...

Re: Porsche Connect Renewal

I didn't see that when I renewed last month - the mothers!

In fact they heavily promoted packages and I had to really root about to find the individual prices.

Re: BMW X3 M40i - replacement for Macan?

The M3/M4 are end of life so have been offered at massive discounts, the X3 has just been refreshed so should be better. I have an M2, and I must say the tech is a massive step forward over the Porsche PCM3. I am yet to experience the latest Porsche touch screen wonders but they are promoting things...

Re: Macan turbo

If I am honest I never use Sport Chrono - to me it doesn't suit the driving style of the car, a 911 or Cayman yes but the Macan Turbo is a bit more of a relaxed comfortable drive. Still the exhaust burbles and pops much more with it on!

Re: Key 'Hack'

Cheers for the heads up. I was the sucker that forked out for colour matched keys. Mine is looking pretty good after two years with a bit of wear around the tip as I don't use keyless. My wife's is fooked - she just lobs it in to her handbag amongst the bottomless pit of nail files, keys, pens witho...

Re: Macan turbo

The 2016 onwards cars have the updated PCM. We don't have air on our Turbo and don't miss it, but we have the 20" Spyder wheels. Are you really going to need the torque vectoring being honest? On a GT3 yes, on a 2 tonne SUV? Roof really brightens the cabin - I would chose that again every time....
