Re: A Porsche off-roader

I just received a second copy of the 03/2017 mag this week - very strange as I received a copy months ago.

No sign of the 04/2017 mag though...

Re: Is Sports Chrono worth it ?

I had Sport Chrono retrofitted and the clock/timer on the dash doesn’t come with it as it cannot be fitted, I would conclude the same can be said for the compass.

Re: Marks On Grill & Plastic Side Trim

It looks really bad, like those marks superglue can leave behind on plastics. My advice would be to try cleaning it with diluted isopropyl alcohol and then apply GTechniq C4. The GTechniq products are very good and really darken/protect the plastic for around 6 months to a year. The trouble you have...

Re: PCC connection issues

I had trouble recently - the diagnostics on the app showed my phone connecting to the PCC Server but the server couldn't connect to my car. OPC did some kind of hard reset and it worked - not quite sure of what, I had already restarted the PCM unit. You should get letters from Vodafone saying they c...

Re: Water marks on aluminium Trim

I was having a detailing day today so tried a few things. Meguiars Metal polish - nope but makes the trim shiny. Autosol - as above but a bit harsher. Lemon juice - Nothing. Dodo Juice Lime Prime - nothing. GTechniq EXO reduces them a bit, I was doing the whole car. I will leave it for now, but it i...

Re: Water marks on aluminium Trim

On the black? Bloody hell!

I am wondering about grumbling and trying to get them changed under warranty.

Water marks on aluminium Trim

I have the aluminium window surrounds - I use the legendary RaceGlaze 0 ppm Filter to rinse the car but I have terrible water marks on the aluminium window surrounds, no marks on the roof rails or skid plates. Anyone else have this? Any ideas as to how to remove them? I've tried isopropyl alcohol, M...
