Re: GTS On Order

My GTS all be it a Mk1 had 21"s and the standard PASM. Never once did I ever find an issue with the ride or handling and I am not a slow driver. I even had unprompted compliments on how smooth the ride was and the roads around here are far from billiard table smooth. At best air on a GTS is a "nice ...

Re: 20” v 21” wheels - overall size difference?

The difference is 0.15% between 20" and 21" front so the square route of nothing. Its almost impossible for two different tyre sizes to have exactly the same rolling radius.

Re: EV in 2021 but Petrol to stay until 2024

Ionity seemed like the company that would be able to roll out supercharging that would slowly become a game changer. Unfortunatly their announcement in January to replace the flat charge with per kw pricing will mean that without subsidies from the individual manufcturers (currently most potential ...

Re: Petrol or Diesel

The SD has more torque than God. I drove the petrol S and was not impressed by performance nor economy. That was accompanied by a sales exec. My only niggle is after having a Golf 7 R the SD doesn’t handle 3 figures very well. I regularly drive country lanes and it does well. Not Golf R territory b...

Re: Smelly all weather floor mats

Sometimes cheaper non genuine rubber mats can whiff pretty strongly for quite a while. They will eventually settle down but proper Porsche mats shouldn't. I've had a set in the new Cayenne from deliver a few weeks ago and there was no discernable smell at all.

Re: Saying Hello

Road tax on a Macan will be exactly the same as the Cayenne. I suppose if you bought an old enough Macan it would be part of the older tax rates which would be a bit less, but the newer cars will drop to £145 after five years.

Re: Hi, 1st Macan, delighted so far.

Not sure about black car, black trim and black wheels. I like the contrast of the silver wheels & window trim against the black bodywork. :) Plus one, I think that looks far better than an all black look. I am particularly fond of the silver wheel. Thanks, I think this was the 2nd one the original ...

The blue ones are Chep and full sized. Euro pallets are the smaller sized and natural wood in colour. :geek:
