Re: Hello! Potential Macan Turbo Purchase

thanks all for the very useful replies. As I have monitored responses over the past few days it has (surprisingly) made me all the confident in terms of what to spec. 2-whilst it goes against my mantra should I spec chrono more with resale in mind? cheers SC on a Macan will be worth £0 second hand....

Re: Ceramic and PPF booked!

I would do the bonnet before the wings on a Macan if you are working on a budget. In my experience the bonnet and bumper take by far the worst of stone chips. I did the rear bumper on my Macan, very worthwhile if done correctly, well over the top edge of the bumper. The guy that did mine had to make...

Re: GTS Release?

Lots of room between the S and Turbo for a nice sporty 400bhp GTS

reversing camera is essential imo
I have a rear view camera on the 911 and just cant get used to looking at it so generally don't. Still mirrors with a bit of sensor help for me.

Re: After market 21” or 22” alloy wheels

IMHO the only after market wheels that look OK on a Porsche are the ones that cost even more than the OEM versions. The wheels this chap is looking at are certainly some of the better looking value wheels I've seen, so you pays your money and takes your chance. Would 22" wheels have any room...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

If you can afford to own both, and if you can actually get your hands on a 718 GT4, then go for it! :D Failing that, pick up a pre-718 GT4, which by all accounts is very nearly as good as the newer model. I love the thought of a GT4, but as my Porsche is a daily driver, my Carrera T is far more pra...

Re: Condensation

My Macan often did that and the 911 can do similar too. Must be something in the aircon computer settings that does it. To smart for its own good.

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

I have to confess that after reading the Autocar first test on the new GT4 got me thinking given the type of driving I do if I might be better chopping the 911 in for one of those, thats if that was possible. But then a 911 is a 911 and difficult to let go even for anything as special as a GT4. May...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

Well considered review Wing but a bit unfair singing such praise and unsettling us other 911 owners. I will now spend another week trying to convince myself that a Litchfield GTS wouldn't add up. Getting harder with every new post from yourself and the man maths just scream "do it" :? I must admit ...
