Re: Track day

As the whole track has been hired by your OPC all those attending should be Porsche owners. I agree with prior in that your Macan is a far more capable car than your level of driving skill. If they adopt the PEC method of “keep left and signal when you are OK to be overtaken on your right” then you ...

Re: New car day! - Dolomite Silver GTS

Until they try the door and see GTS in red on the sideblades. :) Why debadge the rear ?? Well that’s buggered any future warranty claim on the car! On a serious note how or who did you use to change the badge? I fancy changing mine from S to plain Macan…. Floss, use that behind the badge adhesive t...

Re: Porsche's Own brand Dashcam Questions

Do you really want a Dashcam install that relies on a Porsche App to save and view the videos?

Re: Stone Chips - Recommend a Specialist

First I would clay the bonnet, given the depth of the chips there may be other indentations on the bonnet that will require action. Claying will get you up close personal with the bonnet and far more noticable, be one with your car. There may be other chips caused by the stones bouncing over the car.

Re: Stockport OPC

Wilmslow Porsche is not actually in Wilmslow, it is in Handforth as you can see by the sign.

I found that a bit ironic when I test drove an S there many years ago, never visited again, never will.

The plonkers there put zero effort into Customer Service.

Re: Mini

I had a hip operation which has resulted in me being bored off my trolley not yet being able to walk so..... I thought that these days you weren't allowed to lounge around and they used a cattle prod to get you moving almost as soon as you came round! Be a good boy and do what the physio tells you....

Re: One year with my Macan S

Best MFD reading on my Turbo, 29.8 mpg over a 150 mile and one stop journey. No driving like Miss Daisy was in the back, half the journey was on an A road overtaking everything when safe to do so. A tad pleased that the actual would be c26mpg By far the worst MFD mpg shown was at the PEC wringing th...
