Re: Porsche Driving Experience

I also received an email from the PEC to experience 4 hours of driving the facelifted Macan S. i live in Surrey, so it'll probably be a 3 hour drive at least, but well worth it, I am sure. Might even treat myself to stay in a hotel nearby. I can't wait ! Can recommend Fawsley Hall - lovely spot, if...

Re: Part Exchange

As much as the above maybe the norm and all true I thought I would add balance to this. I part ex my Audi Q5 with porsche 2 years ago and got just under what I was going to sell it for on Autorrader.(£500 less) Even better 4 months later when collecting the Macan they still have me the same valuati...

Re: 992 Launch Event

I have an orange suit that I could wear along... Don't stand on the corner of the road if you do, you might be mistaken for a traffic light   Or maybe wearing an orange suit in Northern Ireland has an alternative connotation? ;) Ha, an orange sash would be the thing. To see Carl’s (Dealer...

Re: 992 Launch Event

^^^ How old/big are your wee ones? My girlfriend’s 14-year old son (5’10”) fits behind the passenger ok in my Carrera T with the passenger seat pulled forward a fair bit. And his girlfriend fits behind my seat (I’m 5’11”). 6yrs and 2yrs old - so pretty small, ideal time for a 911 and us all to sque...

Belfast invites are out, Friday 29th, the good lady wants a nosey at the 992, she is considering one and I get the Macan. Will wait and see if 10% actually happens, also want one for the weekend to see if we can fit the wee ones in!

Re: Spring has sprung

Up in the port! Harry’s Shack for lunch? Yes correct location, trying to avoid lunches. Trying to get the all up weight of car and driver down a bit  Best beach in the world on the right day. Crazy the amount of work going on for the open. You are damn right, sunsets are amazing, I remember dr...

Re: Porsche 992. Starting to lust...

OK troops, What is your feeling on lead times for a 992 S - could be 1 yr or 1.5 yr if I order say in March / April. Ideally would look to get August / Sept 2020. Macan owned outright by then and hopeful from 20k circa for my S3, mega low mileage 5 years old and 20k miles. Was looking at moving hous...
