Re: Service Costs

£160 is probably 30-40 mins labour + £30 in fluid. This was published in Fleet News last year, clearly the area is expensive but based on the above that's app £300 an hour. "Analysis of 6,000 garages from across the UK found that, on average, Surrey is the most expensive place to have work ...

Re: Reverse

Well noted the derisory comments from those that insist on having full surround view option on their Macan 😂😂😂

Re: Service Costs

I have just booked my Macan GTS in for its first service at OPC Guildford (which is part of Porsche Retail) - £460 for the service plus £160 for brake fluid change. As has been stated several times in this string, service last and earlier this year £430, so I guess I could swallow £460 but £160 for...

Re: Sell or Hold

There seems to be demand for the Macan GTS at the moment. I was called by a few OPCs offering good money for my GTS. I did think about it but there is nothing else that comes close so decided to keep it and enjoy :) . 👍 Right decision also had same for my Turbo, what's the point unless you already ...

Re: air suspension lowering and seat choice

The 15mm lowered height is beneficial but hardly noticeable, you need to try a version with 14 way comfort seats as the height of the bolsters on the 18 way sports seats are the biggest hurdle to ease of entry and exit.

Funny you said that Mke, just yesterday I had lunch at the yacht club, where I saw a sad picture of beautiful water-crafts waiting for their masters to visit and have some fun.
We can have fun almost every day [emoji41]

Re: 21" too big?

However, I'm wondering if there are other better alternatives to perhaps improve comfort, as in more rubber/thicker rubber on the tyres? The tyres on mine looks almost like run-flat. Please excuse my ignorance. Thanks.. [/quote] The only way you get more rubber is to reduce the wheel size, however t...

Re: Sell or Hold

Nowadays, at my age, I've only got a few more motors to be able to enjoy driving + nowt better than changing every 3-4 years at most (often less) to enjoy as many more as I can + I don't have to get bonnet up any more! [/quote 👍 Agreed, re £££££ You can't take them with you, if you have it use it to...

Re: Sell or Hold

No matter what any dealer or their finance managers should otherwise tell you. Cash every time and if you buy new, unless that is you are happy to burn £££££'s! Hang onto it for a while. With a few exceptions, the more expensive the car the greater the £ loss. Welcome to the world of Porsche 😳 not f...
