GAP Insurance on New Macan S

We have bought from Gap Insurance. The claim limit is not unlimited, but we purchased the replacement GAP, which is sufficient for us. And their policy contributes £250 towards insurance excess. To be honest the likelihood of you needing it is very slim, fingers crossed, so why pay over the odds for...

Lacquer peeling!

Hope you get it sorted under warranty, Dave. To check what side blades were on the car originally, perhaps check the original spec of the car using the car's VIN (I am not sure which website though, but OPC should be able to print the original spec sheet for you). That might throw some light as to w...

2019 Macan 'S' order

Spot on. As we specced the Gloss Black 20" Turbo alloys (but they have some brushed silver on the spokes) the Black gloss styling pack (window surrounds) gives it a more contemporary look and then (really) requires that you go for the Black Sports tailpipes too......whereas if you don't have the Bl...

....... I’m pleased with the look of my T on its ‘summer’ wheels, but actually like the fact that the car looks noticeably different for a few months when kitted out with its winter wheels/tyres. .....
That's one way of reminding yourself which seasonal wheels you're rolling on. ;)

^^^ Beautiful! :) And I really like the silver window trims on your car, as they go nicely with the silver wheels and exhaust tips!
Thank you, yes, in that respect the silver bits work here. ;)

2019 Macan 'S' order

As an ex Macan GTS Night Blue owner I can confirm it is an awesome colour for the car and suits it very well. It looks so different in different lights but always looks classy. I think Semerka also has a Night Blue turbo and would probably say much the same. The colour has real depth and character ...

Welcome to the forum, Slysheep! :) Just a note about the PDLS Plus. I too agree that they are definitely worth it for country lane driving, just for the cornering lights alone. The auto-dim of the main beam function can be switched off, you don't have to put up with it if you don't like it. If you l...

Horrendously excessive internal condensation

Perhaps a regular wipe of the sunroof rubber seals and a poke in the drains eliminates any offending debris entering the system? I seem to have solved my car's water ingress that way. But it was the front driver's rubber mat that was holding a puddle plus the wind deflector sat in water. So a much ...
