Re: New 911 S/T
I think it’ll be a masterpiece and sufficiently different from a GT3 Touring.
Lighter weight, single mass flywheel, 10kg lighter wheels, low inertia crank, shorter gearing with the lower torque RS engine. That’s an intoxicating recipe!
That’s before you even get to how it looks and inside and out.

Re: Carrera C2
On the subject of switching the sport exhaust on, it seems to me that it is louder in the cabin than it is outside on the 992 T we have. Which I suppose serves it’s purpose to be enjoyed by the driver and not passers by. 😃 Also what disappeared from 992 compared to 991.2 and the Cayman is the physi...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T
Those wheels look the business! Have you noticed any change re how the car drives? Thanks! I’ve only driven to the gym & back so far! It may be all in my head, but it did feel as if the 10.3kg weight saving was giving a more finessed drive! 🤪 It’s not in your head Simon! Weight removed fr...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T
That did not take long. ;) They are gorgeous, good choice! 8-) Looking forward to seeing them on the T. What's the weight difference between this Apex set and the standard Porsche set you are replacing? Thanks! :) Weight saving of about 22.6lbs or 10.27kgs. 8-) They look stunning and extremely lust...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T
What's the latest re delivery of the new wheels? Think those bad boys will look epic on your T Am waiting patiently (as they have to be shipped from US to the UK importer, and then to me). 😇 I have a mobile (recommended) tyre fitter lined up to come and swap wheels/tyres... :) Have you gone for OEM...

And doubtless you could fit BMW centre caps if you wished.
...and nothing wrong with a baby Beemer!
I owned a 1984 316 many years ago!
Baby Beemer love is how Semerka and I met
BMW caps for sure!

On order as we speak (swapped from the brushed clear finish).
I think that’s the right decision too Simon
