Re: New Member - from 2010 Nissan GTR to 2015 Macan Diesel S

Assume you are aware the diesels were removed from the market some time ago due to all the ongoing issues and bad publicity. That would concern me enough not to want a diesel one.

Re: GTS exhaust tips

I am still waiting to hear if they will replace mine. Car was in for service 6 weeks ago when they examined them and sent a case to Porsche apparently. Sent a couple of reminder emails to dealer and got responses they were talking to Porsche and would come back soon. Making it sound like the biggest...

Re: New Member - from 2010 Nissan GTR to 2015 Macan Diesel S

Why a diesel after such a high performance car as the GTR? sounds like a Petrol might have been a better option.

Re: Macan is the slowest depreciating vehicle

Looks great but a crazy spec especially for a diesel. The owner needs to write off a whole lot of those option costs and put it down to experience.

Re: Silverstone...

Have had a couple of invitations but haven't made it over yet. Not sure how well it works as wife and 2 kids would likely want to come too. Friend went last year for the half day trip and said it was an excellent day as many on here have reported.

Re: Battery conditioner/charger

Yes I have all the lotions and potions too and my car is two years old but as immaculate as the day it left the showroom and that's exactly the way I like it. A car driven every day with 2 or 3 times my mileage will never be in the same condition.

Re: Battery conditioner/charger

The Amazon package arrived yesterday and all connected up tonight so it's sitting quite happily connected. Seems a decent bit of kit. Bought the extension leads which were only another £12 but gives more options to route cable. Also just went for the under bonnet crocodile connectors rather than cig...

Re: Macan S diesel heated seats??

I wouldn't buy one without heated seats and retrofit will be a silly price. My advice would be to keep looking for one with heated seats as its a very commonly ticked option.

They are daytime running lights aren’t they. Means they run all the time irrespective of switch position.

Re: Battery conditioner/charger

Ordered the Ctek charger from Amazon and an extension lead as it was only a few more quid. Total about £80 so got to be worth it to avoid the flat battery anxiety and a battery is never the same again after it has run down.
