Car reg is KRZ8454. Did this belong to a member?
Don’t think it will have been a forum members car. There are 4 or 5 of us on here from N Ireland but not driving that car.

Re: Potential New Car - Feedback please?

I would choose the former. Higher miles tend to cause more events for damage even minor like stone chips. The 5k car will hopefully be immaculate bit that depends on owner. So rather than mileage it’s maybe a factor of the previous owner. For that criteria then a low mileage one meticulous owner car...

Re: Potential New Car - Feedback please?

Don't think one regen in its life should be an issue but is a feature of diesel ownership unless your mileage is high enough to suit diesel. There are a few of us from N Ireland and could have a look at the car although I'm likely one of the furthest away. McNallys lives very close to the dealership...

Re: Clean wheels

Looks good but next time add a spray on fallout remover to your regime. Wheels get a lot of fallout that even the clay bar does not remove.

Re: Any views on covers, please?

As above I certainly wouldn't be using a cover outdoor as any wind will cause movement and scratch the car. Would happily use one inside on a spotless car but not after the car had been out for a drive and maybe has dust on it.

Re: Any views on covers, please?

They are great. My wife has a pack in her car and gets a wipe out immediately she sees a bird mess. Gets it cleared quick which is the key to no damage.

Re: Any views on covers, please?

Even topper tip is carry a pack of Autoglym bird dripping remover wipes in the car. They soften the residue and you can gently lift the mess away, don’t wipe!

However neither the wipes or Wd40 will help avoid damage occurring if the mess has been there for a short time and caused damage.

Re: Any views on covers, please?

Yes something like Scratch x is the correct next stage. Then polish it with Srp to remove the minor marring it will cause. Then it’s a Pro needed if that doesn’t do the trick.

Re: Any views on covers, please?

Try something not too abrasive at first like Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Then you can go for more abrasion if needed but to be honest I would wait until you can get it to a professional. Hear can help yes which is why sometimes even just the warm sun can make it go away.
