Re: Goodbye Macan hello RR

Seems reasonable and polite to me so can’t really see what’s wrong. If anything he gave you too much info and just needed to say he has decided it doesn’t suit his needs.

I have blind spot monotoring on several of my cars and really wouldn’t like to do without it now.

Re: Interesting Video About Car Thefts

Wouldn’t put a lot of credence in his content to be honest as he is a sensationalist YouTuber. He did some videos recently on trying to buy a new GT3 which were more than flawed and just reeked of sour grapes. He eventually bought a used one and the figures he talked about just don’t add up. Re: Soft cover required

If they are dressed too close to driving it won’t have time to dry and will fling. I’m a bit anal about car condition 😀

Re: Soft cover required

For anyone who uses an indoor cover, what are they like? My concern is that I always dress the tyres and would that not get on the cover and then mark the paint as the cover is removed?

Re: Tool Update

Speed bumps do need a little respect but auto lift is brilliant, so long as you slow down enough!

Problem with the open vents behind the front wheels is solved by having the electric opening charger covers. One of the main reasons I specced them and also the fact they are quite cool!

Re: 21” vs. 20” Ackerman Effect

Had a 911 demo today and an amazing amount of Ackerman effect on that. So much so that my wife who was a passenger asked what was wrong with the car. zero Ackerman effect on my Taycan but imagine the rear wheel steering helps.

Re: Yellow dots on various parts of the engine - why?

I think there would be more alarm bells ringing if I did find that is has an engine!

Re: Yellow dots on various parts of the engine - why?

Looks a bit too messy to be from the factory. I would have thought factory applied QC marks would be neat and discrete. Would want to see similar on a few more cars before taking that story on board.

I would check my Porsche but it doesn’t have an engine 😂😂
