Speed bumps do need a little respect but auto lift is brilliant, so long as you slow down enough!
Problem with the open vents behind the front wheels is solved by having the electric opening charger covers. One of the main reasons I specced them and also the fact they are quite cool!

Re: 21” vs. 20” Ackerman Effect
Had a 911 demo today and an amazing amount of Ackerman effect on that. So much so that my wife who was a passenger asked what was wrong with the car. zero Ackerman effect on my Taycan but imagine the rear wheel steering helps.

Re: Yellow dots on various parts of the engine - why?
Looks a bit too messy to be from the factory. I would have thought factory applied QC marks would be neat and discrete. Would want to see similar on a few more cars before taking that story on board.
I would check my Porsche but it doesn’t have an engine

Lovely car and a great choice.
The Sports Turismo are definitely a bit lower as they run the same as the saloon version and are pretty low. Worth it though to make the effort to get in as a Taycan is a great drive.

Re: Nice cars in Swindon OPC today.
It’s a GT3, high number of owners and ultra low miles is pretty much par for the course.

Really can’t see the point of the Dakar models but plenty like them I’m sure.
In that collection above the GT3 is the one.

Re: Residuals
Tesla also keep moving their list prices for new cars and have in the recent times dropped a load off the Model 3 so that doesn’t help used cars. Also a new model 3 out which again will kick the old one.

Re: Farewell and Adieu (perhaps)
Do you often do 300 miles in one day in the midst of winter?

Re: Farewell and Adieu (perhaps)
So what’s the replacement? Don’t listen to the nay slayers who have never owned an EV.
