Re: Sainsburys 97 octane super unleaded

Interesting article in Evo re pump fuel and Coryton sustain fuel. They test three cars, one being a 992 GTS which is Evos long termer. I would have thought they'd run it on 97 at least, but no, they have it running on BP 95. Manufacturer claim: 473bhp, 420lb ft BP 95: 471.9bhp, 406.8lb ft Nothing i...

Re: Lack of Colours

With Land Rover, the more you pay the less choice you get. My V8 Defender came with a choice of black, grey or white. Much more choice lower down the range.

Re: What a (good) day

OTR costs should only be RFL and first registration fee. Any other costs request they be removed. And the franchises are required to supply a full tank of fuel, it isn’t a ‘freebie’.

Re: What a (good) day

If you drive at night keep the auto dimming mirrors. A lot of dazzle, particularly bright LEDs on SUVs, comes from the side mirrors and privacy glass has no effect on this. Besides, they are a relatively low cost option with no down side.

Re: What a tool.............. (new vehicle, as requested)

Lovely car, really nice. I nearly bought a CT two years ago....... As a lifelong petrol head I love the sound of a great engine but strangely I also loved the sound of silence in the Taycan. Almost other worldly as you slide silently out of car parks etc and then boot it up the road, also in silence...

My Navara passed numerous MoTs with slight cracking on the shoulders of the Goodyear A/Ts. I eventually changed them recently at 12 years old purely on the basis of age.
