Re: Window cleaning
It's not really after washing, although I can see it until dry. For instance the Macan has been detailed and garaged. I open the garage door and humidity hits the car. For some reason the windows seem to attract moisture and show this horrible finish. Once cleaned with IPA (not India Pale Ale😜) I wi...

Re: Both Remote Key Fobs not unlocking the car??
What condition is the car battery in?
Is this an issue pre lockdown or post lockdown on a car that has been sitting unused for a while?

Re: Window cleaning
Thanks for the tips everyone.
Really frustrating as they look perfect when dry but as soon as slightly damp they have this horrible smeary effect.

Re: Window cleaning
I thought they all came with some sort of coating on the side windows from the factory? (or it could just be my failing memory😳) That’s correct Paul, the old grey cells are still functioning! I presume this starts to wear off, maybe causing this streaking effect? What does the Porsche coating...

Window cleaning
As soon as any moisture gets on my Macan, the side windows, rear windows and sunroof have a streaky finish to them. It's almost like some form of coating, maybe something the OPC applied when new. I have used Autoglym fast glass, clear glass and a couple of other products but the streaks still show ...

Re: Exhaust noise... please help!
My Gen 1 GTS sound far exceeds the sound the wife's M135i made, almost the same engine as yours although they say the 135 engine sounds better than the later 140.
Almost up there with my F-Type, even has a bit of a crackle on overrun

Re: Insurance renewal time😡
I see such inflated renewal price 'scams' as a distinct advantage for those of us who can be bothered to check what is available elsewhere and then engage in negotiation. In effect, our insurance is being subsidized by the lazy or gullible. Long may it continue! Actually hadn't thought about it tha...

Re: Insurance renewal time😡
Had my renewal quote from Saga who I have been with for many years. I had previously compared online with quotes between £220 to £240 for Aviva and LV. I used a different registration number for an identical car to get a Saga quote, which came out at £217. Saga renewal quote was £340. Just outrageo...
