Press it and the back end lifts hatch up and all air is sucked out.

This sounds awful.  Do you have any sort of rubber matting in the car?  Since putting a rubber mat in the back of the GTS the smell is ridiculously strong and can make me feel light headed and floaty if on a longish journey.  Never had this problem with the SD which had the loadspace management....

I have the 14 way seats and find them more comfortable than the 18 way where the squab and seat back bolsters can be a bit intrusive, if you have not test driven a Macan with 14 way then I suggest that you do.As comfort seems your main priority I would suggest that you consider PASM or Air if budget...
