NB. The crash barrier thing is, I think, an oil pipeline, heading south from Aberdeen.

Re: Long time admirer, first time owner

To my eyes, the Gen I has those lovely unique rear lights, whereas the Gen II changed to the full width light bar rear effect, which I personally like less.

Am sure there were some ‘techie’ changes too, which someone will add. ;)

Re: Winters to Summers

When I had winters for my Carrera T, I used to put them on in November and take them off in March (to coincide with when my MOT was due). 7 degrees centigrade is the tipping point if you have a crystal ball. Lovely set of 19” Carrera wheels with winter tyres still for sale (as they won’t fit over my...

Re: Long time admirer, first time owner

Welcome to our friendly forum! :)

As others have said, that’s a classy spec! I’m a big fan of the Gen I and if I ever went back to a Macan, a Gen I would be top of my list!

I remember when the wait time for an S was crazily long!

Enjoy your pick up at the weekend! :)

Test drove this morning and lucked out with an available build slot, so should be here June or may be July. I won't have long to play with the conf...

Re: 21” vs. 20” Ackerman Effect

Not personally looking for an Ackerman Affect debate  but trying to establish whether anybody has gone from a 21” wheel to a 20” and this has eliminated the affect? Had it on our Cayenne running 21’s and got it in the GTS, but never had it on our Macan T Don’t want to buy a set of 20’s if it d...
